Sprinkle the seed in a thin layer on the seed grid and rinse gently under the tap. Fill the glass bowl with water to the bottom of the grid and place in the windowsill in a normal room temperature ( 20-22C ). Change the water every day.
You can also fill an empty butter bowl with wet cotton wool and sprinkle the seeds on it. Keep the cotton wool well moist and you can enjoy your own cultivated Sprouts. After 6 days you can eat the sprouts (which are then 3-5 cm long).
CAUTION: Basil, arugula and cress produce a gel after contact with water. Less suitable for sprouting in the sprout vegetable pot, which requires draining. We recommend sprouting these species by mixing with alfalfa and or radish cress and or broccoli sugars.
